What is the publishing process?
Publishing with OrangeBooks Publication is a simple process. Create an account with OrangeBooks Publication, select a publishing package, and submit your book for publishing. A project manager will be immediately assigned to assist you during the publishing process. After submitting a book, an ISBN will be assigned and the manuscript will be sent for cover and book interior design. The entire process will be managed by OrangeBooks Publication with frequent inputs from your end.
Who owns the rights to my book?
You maintain the full rights to your book! We exist to help you reach the market via our distribution partners and act as a publishing label. Publishing with OrangeBooks Publication is a non-exclusive publishing agreement. We don’t own any of your content and you can even publish it elsewhere if you wish.
How many copies of my book will you print?
OrangeBooks Publication offers managed inventory services. Stay in stock and never worry about paying for additional print runs of your book. Print more, sell more. It’s all covered.

Can I offer my items for free on a promotional basis?
Yes you place your book for free of cost on ebook as well as paperback to get more reviews. However the production cost and distribution charges will be paid by author.
How do I set the selling price of my book?
The selling price of a book is dependent on its production cost. The Calculate Author Earnings feature on the OrangeBooks Publication website helps you know the production cost of your book based on its page extent, size and format. With this you can set the retail price of your book and ascertain the earnings that you would receive.
Will I receive post publishing support?
At OrangeBooks Publication, we strive to keep all our authors completely satisfied with our services. You will receive support from our Author Support Team for all your post publishing queries over e-mail or phone, as applicable.

Where can I find good images to create my own cover design?
It’s very important to source copyright-free images to create the cover of the book. If you’re looking for free sources of copyright-free images you can try a Google Image search with the filter ‘Labelled for reuse with modification’ turned on or sites like pexels.com, unsplash.com, pixabay.com. But make sure you check the licensing of each photo. You may be required to attribute the source in your book.
Can I track how many books I’ve sold?
Currently, we can offer you sales reports via email/sheet. These detail how many books you’ve sold, when they were sold and in what region. We’re working hard to bring you live sales data via the Author Dashboard too!
How and when are profits distributed?
Profits from your book are distributed monthly via Bank Transfer. You are required to submit an Indian bank account during the publishing process. Profits will be paid to this nominated account within 30 days of the end of each month.

Will OrangeBooks Publication create and distribute an eBook version of my book along with the paperback version?
eBook creation and distribution is available in almost all publishing package. With the eBook creation and distribution service, we’ll create the print replica files of the book and distribute it through Kindle, Google Play, Kobo and iBooks.
I’ve published my book using the starter package. But I’m not sure how to go about marketing it. Can you help?
You can choose marketing services as add-ons even after publishing with starter package. A Publishing Consultant can guide you through the process of choosing an appropriate marketing service for your book.
